AWS makes Amazon Nova Premier generally available
AWS announced general availability of Amazon Nova Premier, a multimodal foundation model for long documents, video, large codebases, and multistep agentic workflows. Long-context and distillation features change how teams may design retrieval, evaluation, and cost controls. They do not remove the need to test whether relevant information is retained, cited, or appropriately scoped. Vendor benchmarks and context-window sizes are inputs to architecture and evaluation planning, not guarantees of accuracy, privacy, or fit for a specific workload.

AWS introduced Nova Premier as its most capable Nova understanding model at the time of the announcement. Distillation role
